Wintertime means hay time!
Feeding out hay each evening helps to keep our horses warm and snug in the cool winter nights.
Did you know that horses have one of the largest temperature ranges in mammals and do well in hot deserts and snow covered mountains alike? Found naturally anywhere from -40 to 40 degrees celcius their temperature tolerance has a lot to do with their breed, coat, age and food intake among other things.
There is something very satisfying about the sound of a horse munching on hay.
