The Juicy fruit center is balanced by pepper and spice and combined with crunchy acidity and textural tannins create an approachable, well-balanced, and delicious example of this South African variety.
Technical notes: Hand-picked fruit from the Greenacres Vineyard in Merriang South was destemmed and fermented in open tubs with a small percentage of whole bunches. Gentle cap management and temperature control ensured a steady ferment. The wine was then pressed to finish its ferment in older oak barrels where it aged for 10 months prior to bottling.

Kath and Steve Baird settled in Tawonga with their two young boys Lin and Clay in 1986.
