Dine at Spring Spur

Spring Spur is a working horse property, with 6 guest suites, a fully equipped commercial kitchen and bar, and a complementing garden where we employ organic principles to produce seasonal fruits, vegetables, citruses, berries and olives. Our set menu changes weekly and incorporates produce grown here at Spring Spur and supplemented by surrounding local farms, grown and raised by ethical and sustainable farmers to showcase the unique Alpine produce built on an immense respect for the environment.

The Spring Spur Kitchen operates Thursday to Sunday nights. These are a truly unique dining experience where we invite guests, family and friends to sit down together on our Long Table and enjoy quality food and wine, and share stories and songs.

Spring Spur Garden

The veggie garden has always been a way of life for the Baird family, originating from Kath, who was determined to feed her growing boys healthy organic produce. It continues to be a source of sustenance for the ever growing Baird family, and a main feature of our cooking in the homestead meals we produce for our guests – from homegrown spuds carried into the bush by sturdy pack horse, freshly cut herb focaccia or raspberry jam toast with your morning coffee, to the simple delight of biting into a crispy apple straight from the tree. The garden is ever-changing with the seasons and evolves every year into something completely unique, you simply can’t beat homegrown for taste!
